Eligible Candidates: The drive is for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) residing in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates must hold a valid Employment Exchange Registration Card from one of these states and a disability certificate indicating 40% or more disability.
Age Limits (as of 08/06/2026): The minimum age is 18 years across all categories. The maximum age limit is 40 years for General, 43 years for OBC(NCL), and 45 years for SC/ST candidates. These limits already include a 10-year age relaxation for PwBD.
Educational Qualifications:
- Junior Technician (Grade III): Passed Class 10 along with a relevant Trade Certificate (Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, or Surveyor).
- Junior Office Assistant (Grade III): Passed 10+2 along with a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application (minimum 6 months).
- Junior Engineer – Electrical (Grade VII): Passed Class 10, a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and possesses a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency.
Selection Process: * Computer Based Test (CBT): Candidates must appear for a 100-mark CBT (no negative marking) and secure a minimum of 40 marks to qualify.
- Document Verification: Candidates will be shortlisted strictly based on CBT merit in a 1:1 ratio.
- Medical Examination: Final provisional appointment is subject to being declared medically fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME).
