About CCRUM
The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. Established to scientifically develop, cooperate, and coordinate research in the Unani system of medicine, the Council operates through a vast national network of 24 institutes and centers, driving advancements in healthcare and traditional clinical research.

Other Criteria of CCRUM Recruitment 2026
1. Selection Procedure (By Group)
- Group ‘A’ Posts: Selection is based on an online Computer Based Test (CBT) carrying 70 marks followed by an Interview carrying 30 marks.
- Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Posts: Selection is based entirely on the performance in the online CBT carrying 100 marks, followed by a Skill Test/Driving Test where applicable.
2. Mandatory Skill & Qualifying Tests
- Stenographer Grade-III: Must pass a shorthand dictation test at a speed of 80 words per minute (wpm) and typewriting at 40 wpm.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Must pass a typing test on a computer with a speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
- Hindi Assistant: Must pass a conventional descriptive written translation examination (Hindi to English and vice-versa).
- Staff Car Driver: Must pass a mandatory practical driving test.
3. Exam Rules & Qualifying Marks
- Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the CBT for all posts, except for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), which has no negative marking.
- Minimum Cut-off Standards: To qualify in the CBT, candidates must score a minimum of 25% for SC/ST/PwBD categories and 30% for all other categories (UR, OBC, EWS, ESM).
How to Apply for CCRUM Recruitment 2026
Step 1: Account Creation (Sign-Up)
- Go to the official CCRUM websites: www.ccrum.res.in or www.ccrum.ayush.gov.in.
- Provide basic details exactly as they appear on your Matriculation Certificate: Full Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Select a valid Government ID proof (Voter ID, Passport, PAN, or Driving License).
- Validate your mobile number and email ID using the sent OTP.
- Note: Details entered during account creation cannot be modified later.
Step 2: Completing Your Profile
- Log in using the system-generated Reference Number and password sent to your email/mobile.
- Click on the ‘Profile’ tab and fill in demographic details, categories/sub-categories, and basic educational qualifications (SSC, HSC/Diploma).
- Upload common documents, including a recent passport-size color photograph (50–100 KB in JPG/JPEG format) and your signature in black ink (50–100 KB in JPG/JPEG format).
- Upload relevant certificates (Caste, PwBD, or Discharge certificates if applicable) in PDF or JPG format (100–1000 KB).
- Review your profile details on the Preview page, check the undertaking boxes, and submit.
Step 3: Applying for Specific Posts
- Go to the ‘Apply for Post(s)’ tab and select the desired post.
- Provide post-specific details and upload required educational or experience documents.
- (If you are applying for multiple posts, you can repeat this step using the same login account).
Step 4: Fee Payment
- Upon submitting the post application, you will be automatically redirected to the online payment gateway.
- Pay the non-refundable fee (Processing Fee + Examination Fee, depending on your category) using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
- Note: SC, ST, PwBD, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, and Female candidates are exempt from the Examination Fee but must pay the ₹500 Processing Fee.
Step 5: Download Confirmation
- After successful payment, download the system-generated application form and payment receipt from your dashboard for future reference. Do not send a hard copy to CCRUM by post.
