Other Criteria of BVFCL Recruitment 2026
1. Educational Qualification
- Graduate Engineering Apprentices: Must hold a full-time, regular B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.
- Technician Apprentices: Must hold a full-time, regular Diploma in the relevant engineering/safety discipline.
- Trade Apprentices (ITI): Must have passed HSLC (Class 10) along with a regular ITI course in the specified trade.
- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices (HR/Finance/Lab): Must hold a regular B.A., B.Com, or B.Sc degree.
- Minimum Marks: General and OBC candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate; SC/ST/PwBD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks.
- Recency: Candidates must not have completed more than 3 years after passing their qualifying exam as of June 1, 2026.
- Prior Experience: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or who have one year or more of job experience are not eligible.
2. Age Limit (as of June 1, 2026)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Relaxation:
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
- 5 years for SC/ST
- Up to 10–15 years for PwBD candidates depending on their primary category.
3. Selection Methodology
- Shortlisting: Selection is based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation plus the respective qualifying discipline/degree.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates must clear a personal interview.
- Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to qualifying BVFCL’s pre-employment medical fitness standards.

- For Graduate or Diploma Apprentices: You must register on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php.
- For ITI Apprentices: You must register on the apprenticeship portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/.
2. Submit the Online Application
- Once registered on the respective portal, apply online specifically for BVFCL Namrup.
- Important Note: You can apply for only one trade or discipline. Applying for multiple positions will lead to immediate rejection.
- Take a screenshot of the applied screen showing your application to BVFCL Namrup, as you will need to send it via email (as per instructions in the full notification).
