1. Research Assistant
- Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as of the last date of application.
- Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences / relevant subjects from a recognized university OR a Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) from a recognized institution.
- WITH 3 years of work experience from a recognized institution.
- AND At least one research publication as a first author or corresponding author in an SCI-indexed journal.
- Desirable Criteria:
- 3 research publications in an SCI journal (with at least 1 as first/corresponding author).
- Experience in health technology assessment, cost-effectiveness analysis, or economic evaluation.
- Public health or social science experience.
- 1 year of experience working in a government-funded project.
- Knowledge of data management, biostatistics, and basic computer software (Microsoft Office, R, SPSS).
2. Scientist C (Medical / Non-Medical / Research Officer)
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
- Essential Criteria (Medical Route):
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS degree with 3 years of experience in the relevant field; OR
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS degree + PhD / MPH; OR
- MBBS / BVSc / BDS degree + Post Graduate degree.
- AND At least two research publications as first or corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals or Scopus Q1 journals.
- Essential Criteria (Non-Medical Route):
- Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) in relevant subjects (Public Health, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines) with 3 years of post-qualification experience OR a PhD.
- AND At least two research publications as first or corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals or Scopus Q1 journals.
- Desirable Criteria:
- Doctorate (MD / Ph.D.) in a relevant subject (Community Medicine, Preventive & Social Medicine, Pediatrics, Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Family Medicine, Epidemiology, or Public Health) from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, statistical/programming tools such as R and Python, and HTA-related platforms.
General Selection & Shortlisting Process (Both Posts)
- Initial Filtering: Candidates are initially shortlisted based on meeting the minimum eligibility criteria regarding age, educational qualifications, and experience.
- Further Shortlisting: If the number of eligible applicants is high, the Principal Investigator (PI) will apply additional shortlisting criteria.
- Written Test: An MCQ-based written test may be conducted if the volume of shortlisted candidates warrants it.
