The minimum monthly stipend payable to the selected apprentices is determined by their qualification as per the Apprenticeship Rules (amended 2019):
- ITI / Diploma Holders: ₹8,200/- or ₹9,600/- per month.
- Diploma in Engineering Holders: ₹10,900/- per month.

Other Criteria of APL Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the requisite Engineering Diploma or ITI examination in the relevant discipline.
Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
Category Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks (reducing the requirement to 50%) is admissible for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), ST(H), and OBC-NCL categories.
Timeframe: Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination within the five years immediately preceding the date of the Walk-in-Interaction.
Selection Process: Selection is strictly based on merit, which is determined by the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination, subject to the verification of original documents and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
Portal Registration: Candidates must be registered on the respective apprenticeship portals: NATS 2.0 for J.E./Diploma apprentices or NAPS for ITI trade apprentices.
Specific Exclusions: Candidates possessing an ITI qualification in the Diesel Mechanic trade are explicitly not eligible for the Mechanical discipline.
How to Apply for APL Recruitment 2026
1. Register on the Apprenticeship Portals
Before attending, you must ensure you are registered on the appropriate portal based on your qualification to secure your registration number:
- For J.E. / Diploma Candidates: Register on the NATS 2.0 Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) to get your 16-digit registration number.
- For ITI Candidates: Register on the NAPS Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) to get your 11-digit registration number.
2. Attend the Walk-in-Interaction
You must physically report to the designated venue on the specific date assigned to your engineering branch:
- Dates:
- July 29, 2026: Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines.
- July 30, 2026: Chemical and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Time: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
- Venue: Executive Guest House, Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited, Namrup, P.O. Parbatpur, PIN-786623, Dibrugarh, Assam.
3. Bring the Required Documents
You need to carry the following documents with you for verification:
- 10th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate
- 12th Mark Sheet & Pass Certificate (if applicable)
- Diploma in Engineering / ITI Mark Sheets (all semesters) & Pass Certificate
- Biodata as per Annexure-I
- Copy of Bank Passbook
- Address Proof (Copy of Aadhaar Card)
