About BBCI
Established by the Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Society Trust, the Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) stands as a tribute to the legacy of its namesake—a distinguished Assamese physician, philanthropist, and freedom fighter. Though the vision for the hospital was conceived in 1958 under the leadership of Founder President Debendra Nath Sarma and Founder Secretary Dr. Kanak Chandra Borooah, it officially opened its doors in November 1973.

General Application and Selection Criteria
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through the provided online link by May 28, 2026, up to 05:30 p.m. IST.
- Incomplete applications or those not submitted online will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates must possess a valid email ID, as all correspondence regarding the interview or written exam will be sent via email.
- Fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualifications does not guarantee an applicant will be called for the interview, written examination, or skill test.
- Providing incorrect information, or suppressing material facts, will lead to the cancellation of the candidature or termination of services.
- Any form of canvassing or bribing will lead to immediate disqualification.
Interview and Examination Requirements
- Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated via a written examination, skill test, or interview, as decided by the competent authority.
- Candidates must bring original identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID) to the interview.
- Applicants must carry original educational and experience documents (Birth Certificate, final mark sheets, etc.) along with one set of photocopies.
- Outstation candidates will not be provided with accommodation.
- No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the interview.
Employment Terms
- These positions are purely temporary and on a contractual basis.
- The initial appointment is for 6 months, which is extendable based on performance.
- Candidates have no right to claim permanent employment under the project or at the institute.

Female Warden | 34 to 44 years | Graduate in any field with 5 years of experience in housekeeping or as a warden of a large hostel. |
Note on Age Limits: A maximum 5-year age relaxation applies to in-service TMC employees and those working at TMC on a temporary, project, or contract basis.
