About Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyala (BSSRV)
Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya has been established by the Government of Assam under the Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020. Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has been allotted land in Rangajan under Morongi Revenue Circle of Golaghat District. Presently, the office of the Vice Chancellor is run from Golaghat Engineering College premises. The mission and vision of the university are to develop global citizens through a holistic learning process, and endeavouring to turn it into a hub of multidisciplinary research and academic excellence for all its stakeholders.

2. Computer Science and Engineering

- Education: Ph.D. degree in a relevant field and First Class (or equivalent) at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
- Experience: At least 10 years in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 3 years at a post equivalent to Associate Professor.
- Research: Minimum of six research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE journals (at the Associate Professor level) and evidence of guiding at least two Ph.D. candidates. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 research publications is required.
3. General Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on academic scores. Fulfilling minimum criteria does not guarantee an interview.
- Final Selection: The final selection is based solely on performance in the presentation and interview.
