- Option B:
- An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. degree in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academic institutions or industry.
- Significant contribution to knowledge in the field, supported by documentary evidence and 10 years of experience.
For the post of Associate Professor
- A Ph.D. degree in the concerned, allied, or relevant disciplines.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- A minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per Appendix II, Table 2.
Specific Relaxations and Notes
- Marks Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s level for SC/ST/OBC and Differently-abled categories.
- Ph.D. Holders: A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is available to Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree prior to September 19, 1991.
- Selection Process: Meeting minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee an interview; shortlisting is handled by a Screening Committee.
