1. Essential Eligibility Criteria
- Position & Discipline: Vice President in the Project discipline.
- Upper Age Limit: 53 years as of the cut-off date (31.12.2025).
- Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Engineering degree in Chemical, Chemical Technology, or Mechanical with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Work Experience: Minimum 25 years of post-qualification work experience.
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
2. Professional Experience Requirements
The candidate must meet specific leadership and industry-related standards:
- Leadership Status: Must have held the post of Project Head, General Manager, Site Head, Plant Head, or Business Unit Head.
- Industry Background: Experience in large-scale fertilizer, petrochemical, or refinery projects.
- Specific Expertise: Preferably experience with natural gas-based ammonia and urea plants using internationally proven technologies.
- Functional Scope: Experience spanning the full project lifecycle, including contract award, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and stabilization.
3. Application & General Instructions
- Validity of Degree: Qualifications must be from an Indian university/institute recognized by AICTE/UGC or an equivalent statutory authority. Distance learning qualifications are not eligible.
- Experience Calculation: Work experience is counted only after acquiring the relevant degree. Trainee experience (GET/MT) is only counted if the candidate was regularized in the same company.
- Exclusions: Teaching, part-time jobs, apprenticeships, internships, and articleships are excluded from experience calculations.
- Employment Status: Candidates must be working as of the cut-off date or at the time of the interview.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to being found medically fit as per AVFCCL rules
