Other Criteria of The Office of the District Commissioner Recruitment 2026

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 30 years as on 1st January, 2026.
  • Age Proof: Accepted only via Birth Certificate (issued by a competent authority) or HSLC Admit Card/Certificate (issued by a recognized Board/Council). No other document will be accepted in lieu of these.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed a minimum of 10th Class (HSLC) from a Board/Institution recognized by the State or Central Government.

Residential & Property Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the local area/village applied for.
  • Candidate must own land or immovable property in their name in the concerned village where they intend to be appointed.

Other Key Eligibility Conditions

  • Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
  • Must not be a Government Employee.
  • Must not be a member of any political party.
  • Must not be declared insolvent or a defaulter in payment of Govt. dues (Bakijai Clearance required).
  • Candidate must be a person of high status and command a respectable position in society.
  • Small Family Norm: Must not have more than 2 (two) living children from single or multiple partners.
  • Preference will be given to family members of Gaon Pradhans, and views of the Mouzadar will be taken into consideration.
  1. Selection Process
  1. Viva-Voce Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for a Viva-Voce Interview. Candidates scoring the highest marks in the interview will be selected for the post in the concerned village.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates must carry all original documents along with photocopies on the date of the interview.
  3. Police Verification: Final appointments will be made following a satisfactory Police Verification Report as per procedure.

  1. HSLC Admit Card, Mark Sheet, and Pass Certificate.
  2. Age Proof Certificate (Birth Certificate or HSLC Admit Card/Certificate).
  3. Three (3) recent passport-size colour photographs ( with white background).
  4. PAN Card and Voter ID Card.
  5. Small Family Norm Affidavit / Self-Declaration (confirming not more than 2 living children).
  6. Jamabandi Copy (in respect of the applicant or their parents for the applied village).
  7. Mouzadar Certificate (confirming candidate belongs to the applied village).
  8. Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
  9. Bakijai Clearance Certificate.
  10. Self-Declaration stating non-employment in Government and non-affiliation with any political party.
  11. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
