About Sainik School Goalpara

Other Criteria of Sainik School Goalpara Recruitment 2026
1. General & Nationality Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Contract Duration: Contractual posts are initially for a period of 11 months, extendable up to 3 years based on performance reviews and institutional requirements.
2. Educational & Professional Qualifications
- PGT (Comp. Sci, Math, Physics): Master’s Degree or integrated Post Graduate course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree.
- TGT (English, Comp. Sci): Graduation/Honours degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, a B.Ed. degree, and a pass in the CTET or STET examination.
- School Medical Officer: MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Other Academic/Admin Staff:
- Librarian: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (minimum 50% marks) and English fluency.
- Lab Assistants: Intermediate Science (Class 12) or equivalent in the respective subject.
- Craft Instructor / Band Master / Mess Manager: Technical trade certificate, diploma, or relevant military course certification alongside required experience.
- Matron / Ward Boy: Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent with the ability to converse fluently in English.
3. Age Limits (As of 01 June 2026)
- PGT (Computer Science): 21 to 40 years.
- TGT (English): 21 to 35 years.
- All Other Posts: 21 to 50 years (for PGT/TGT Contractual) or 18 to 50 years (for Medical Officer, Counsellor, Librarian, Instructors, Lab Assistants, Matron, and Ward Boys).
4. Selection Process & Application Fees
- Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates must clear a Written Test, Demonstration / Skill Test, and an Interview (as applicable for the specific post).
- Application Fee: A non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- for General category or Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/OBC categories must be submitted with the application.
