1. Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria
The requirements vary by position as detailed below:
- MIS/IT Expert
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Electronics, or MCA/PGDCA, or Mathematics/Statistics.
- Experience: Post Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Specific Skills: Experience in Government/semi-Govt./autonomous organizations/private companies of repute; exposure to handling MIS tools, project management, and database management software.
- Social Development Expert
- Qualification: Required qualification in Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology), Social Work, Development Studies, Community Development, Public Policy, Human Resource Development, Public Administration, or any related discipline.
- Experience: Post Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Specific Skills: Experience in the urban development sector; experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating Capacity Building activities, preferably in a municipal environment.
- Financial Management & Accounting Expert
- Qualification: Required qualification in Finance/Accounting, or M.Com/B.Com, or MBA in Finance with experience in municipal finance.
- Experience: Post Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Specific Skills: Experience in evaluating urban infrastructure investments and helping Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) use a range of options for financing projects. Experience dealing with Banks/PLIs is an added advantage.
2. General Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Nature of Engagement: The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, which may be extended based on performance and project continuation.
3. Selection & Shortlisting Process
- Application Submission: Candidates must submit a duly filled prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, age proof, identity proof, and other testimonials.
- Application Deadline: Applications must be sent via Speed Post, Blue Dart Courier, or email (pmayhfauassam@gmail.com) by 25th May, 2026 till 5 PM. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
- Shortlisting Ratio: The authority will screen the applications and shortlist candidates in a 1:5 ratio based on eligibility, academic qualifications, and relevant experience. Merely meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a call-up.
- Interview Mode: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a Walk-in Interview at the Office of the State Mission Directorate in Dispur, Guwahati.
