The West Assam Milk Producers’ Co-operative Union Ltd (WAMUL), widely recognized by its popular brand name Purabi, is the largest and most successful dairy cooperative in Northeast India. Established in 1976 under the “Operation Flood” program of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), WAMUL was formed to organize milk producers across districts like Kamrup, Nagaon, and Morigaon.

1. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and timing requirements:
- Year of Passing: Only candidates who graduated or completed their diploma in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.
- Graduate Apprentice Qualification: Must hold a B.Tech/BE/B.Sc. in Information System, IT, Computer Science & Engineering, or Software Engineering; or a B.Com in Finance/Accounting; or a BBA.
- Diploma Apprentice Qualification: Must hold a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Information System, IT, Computer Science & Engineering, or Software Engineering from AICTE or DTE.
2. Mandatory Registration
- Candidates are strictly required to register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/.
- You must bring your Enrollment ID generated from this portal to the interview.
3. Walk-in Interview Details
Recruitment is conducted via a walk-in interview at the Purabi Dairy Office in Guwahati.
- Graduate Apprentices: April 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
- Diploma Apprentices: April 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
4. Required Documentation
Candidates must bring the following items to the venue:
- Original documents and one set of photocopies for:
- Educational Qualification Certificates and Marksheets.
- Age Proof and ID Proof.
- A recent passport-size photograph.
